In Other Words, If I were to flip open my phone book and find Some big wig construction firm, THEY Surely Would Be Able to build a custom mobile home (trailer)? If Not, What Kind of a contractor Would I go to?

No.Manufacturers are federally controlled and inspected.
If you want one custom built, all you do is go to any manufactured home sales area and design it, within certain parameters, order it, and it is built by the manufactured home factory
