Which new home builders Have a reputation of building quality homes That Will Last The Longest in general? K. Hovnanian, Pulte, etc.. What is your opinion?

You will never find high quality in track homes.Brookstone homes are pretty good though,I have bought one and I was happy. However, I upgraded everything and was there to check it every step of the way.People who did not upgrade in the neighborhood ended up with lessor quality homes, built by the cheap immigrant labor. Not a single immigrant worked on my specific house, and it may be because I stopped by there almost every day and checked everything, even before they poured my foundation. I made them tie all of the steel they laid first, I know full well they would not of if I had not.
Soo...if you buy a track home pop in a lot to make sure they are doing everything right, not trimming corners, no matter who you buy from.
Also, avoid KB homes, they are the worst ones you can get in CA, I would never buy one and check building records on purchases just to make sure I never, ever, ever end up with one in my inventory.
