Rachal Hartsch says...
OK, the first one isn't a home - it's a mobile home or trailer.NOT the standard homeowners. It's not easy to insure a house in FL, and REALLY not easy to insure a trailer, especially if you're coastal.
SO.ONE of these at least, is obviously a rental. The agent that writes your primary coverage for the place you live, should be the one doing the rental.
Butassuming your agent can't help you, you're MOST LIKELY going to be stuck with Citizens, the Florida state run insurance company. It's really expensive, and they're very slow paying claims. But they're still writing new business, which is more than just about anyone else can say.
If you're with Citizens now, or you have a Citizens quote, well, that's the current market. You could try Foremost for both, they'll do rentals and trailers, but I don't know if they're currently writing in Florida. No one else seems to be.
