I live in a basement apartment and Have mold in my bathroom There Is No method of Vental in There, and I Was Told optometrist HAD painted over top of it In The Pastor. now am not going to bath my child in there (Haven 'T in the past, she aims to Is Getting Big For the baby bath tub.)

Start by increasing the airflow and keep the air moving (fans work)
Then get a dehumidifier
Also get some anti mold product to kill the mold.Bleach works really well on tile, but has limited use because bleach is itself harmful.
If you paint over it you are only helping it grow. Make sure there are no hidden leaks from above.
