Currently I'm considering building a new house and want to know if you-can really save money if you build it on your own? i was looking at a design by Allworth http://www.allworthhomes.com.au/2storey/ homes ... but it cost $ 290 K i did not really want to Spend That Much. Beside Other houses had similar size cost around $ 50K less. In The Current Economic Times, "could i get it done cheaper if i made my own design similar to my own Hired carpenter, plumber, electrician etc.?
