I'm just about to move Into a Rented flat with My girlfriend, and we're o Trying to get insurance sorted, to one thing IS Worrying myself. If We Have happy tenants insurance, and weekends Accidentally cause structural / building damage (eg. by Causing a fire flood gold), Will The landlord's insurance cover The repairs, or Will We Be Expected to (Caused weekends have it).
Most insurances glad we've Looked at only cover you for 2k and 12k Between damages of To The landlord's fixtures and fittings, and say nothing about cover for structural damages. Also it Seems That We can not get building insurance, As We Do not Own The Property.
so if The Landlord's insurance Expects U.S., The Advocates, to pay damages for "any building We May issue, and glad o / tenants insurance cover That Does not, Would We Be Personally linkable for tens or hundereds of Thousands of pounds of cost?
