This Is the second home owned I Have That Is of dark cedar wood, & the spiders are out of control "under the eaves and webbing Any crack THEY CAN find. It Was That Way on Both of the House. Something I have not had a problem With In lighter colored homes. Even my neighbor's home "any spiders Has not like mine, Is It Because of the dark color, and if so Would It Help Get Rid Of Them if I painted a lighter color-the-home?
Elmer Ratte says...
If there is no caulking between the wood pieces, that's probably the problem. They have nooks and crannies to go into creating a nice habitat for themselves. Similar to planks of lumber piled up on the ground.
Good Luck,;-)
