my husband and i are driving over to spain and Staying for up to about 5 or 6 months, i would like to take out a holiday insurance for That lenth of time, one goal That covers all medical and cover dépenses That Brings you home if you Die Abroad. My husband IS 76 yrs old i am 56 yrs old. Can anybody Advise us on That Does This year insurance. thanks.

I don't know why some users like "Ian M" provide wrong information for purpose. The E-111 has become invalid after 1 January 2006 and was replaced by the EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), You should be aware of the fac that the EHIC only covers basic medical treatment. It would not cover repatriation in case of severe illness and I would therefore not travel without a travel insurance which covers that. Most credit cards include travel insurances for abroad travel.
